Key Ingredients
What does WiQo Nourishing Cream for normal and combination skin contain?
It is characterized by important emollient and regenerating properties, ideal for restoring hydration and softness to the skin. It contains oleic and palmitoleic acid which has strong antioxidant properties, which help the natural turnover of cells and counteract the effects of free radicals.
It has a strong antioxidant action, eliminates free radicals and also inhibits cellular damage (lipid peroxidation) caused by oxidative stress. It also has a soothing and anti-inflammatory action; prolongs the life of the skin’s natural hyaluronic acid, prevents its degradation, hyaluronic acid which tends to decrease as we age.
Emollient vegetable oil ideal for dry skin, thanks to its content of fatty acids, oleic acid and eicosanoic acid. Protects against dehydration and reduces water loss from the skin, strengthens the hydrolipidic film and helps regulate sebum production. Its protective and emollient action also makes it suitable for sensitive skin
Appreciated for its strong antioxidant action thanks to the presence of Vitamin E (from which tocopherol acetate also derives) and B, unsaturated fats (Omega 3 and 6) and multiple minerals which allow it to give softness and hydration to the skin.
It is a particular form of Vitamin A, an effective molecule for reducing the appearance of the signs of aging. It stimulates the production of collagen, a protein essential for the structure of the skin and elastin, the protein essential for elasticity. Vitamin A derivatives also have the function of regulating the sebaceous glands by inhibiting excessive sebum production.

Any questions about our Nourishing Cream for normal and combination skin? We have the answers to frequently asked questions.
Hydration is one of the fundamental needs of the skin. There are factors in daily life that rob the skin of its ability to retain water. This also happens after aesthetic medicine treatments that create a temporary alteration of the skin to induce an aesthetic benefit. Restoring skin hydration is part of daily practice and can be done in many ways. We have chosen a mix of the best quality oils and botanical extracts, which provide nutrients to the skin (Vitamin A, E, D, oleic acid, linoleic acid, minerals). Only the best materials, combined in an original way, can give the skin what it needs.
There are two ways to hydrate the skin: either by reducing the evaporation of the water naturally present in our skin or by “capturing” water from the humidity of the air. To reduce evaporation, nourishing products based on more or less fatty substances (the so-called good fats) must be used, while to “capture water” substances such as hyaluronic acid are used which, due to their affinity with they hold water like a sponge, taking it from the humidity of the air.
Nourishing dry skin means restoring missing fats and hydrating it means restoring missing water. This is directly proportional to the elasticity of the skin. This means that when these two factors are restored, it makes small wrinkles less evident.
The main difference is the texture, and the fact that the WiQo Nourishing and Moisturizing Cream for dry skin has been specially formulated for those who have very dry skin and who are unable to obtain satisfactory results with other moisturizing creams and also for those who have undergone treatments that have sensitized the skin. If you are already using WiQo Nourishing and Moisturizing Cream for Dry Skin and it is effective for your dry skin, continue using it. We recommend combining the cream with the WiQo Smoothing Fluid. The smoothing action of the serum facilitates the absorption of the active ingredients of the cream. The synergistic action of the two products helps to keep the skin always active and stimulated.
Since the terms “dry skin” and “dehydrated skin” are often used interchangeably, some people tend to confuse the two conditions.
We talk about dry skin when the skin is usually perceived as tight and/or dry. The intensity of this condition can change slightly depending on the time of year, but if you don’t use a good moisturizer the feeling of dryness and tension will remain constant.
We talk about dehydrated skin when the entire surface of the skin is perceived as dry, but it is a fluctuating sensation, not a persistent condition. Furthermore, dehydrated skin is often a condition that results in the production of excess sebum. Despite this excess sebum production, the skin still feels tight or dry and tends to flake.
