Postinflammatory Hyperpigmentation

Postinflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) is a common acquired cutaneous disorder occurring after skin inflammation or injury. The most common causes of PIH, especially, in patients with darker skin color are acne vulgaris, atopic dermatitis, and impetigo.
